Put God first!

^{19 “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. 21 Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be.}

³¹ “So don’t worry about these things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?’ ³² These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. ³³ Seek the Kingdom of God^[d] above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.

Matthew 6

Put all your trust in God; He should come before everything else. God promises He will provide and I promise you He will! He will give you EVERYTHING you need-physically, emotionally, mentally...

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. (John 6:35)

So what does this mean? Christians should take time out to get to know God through prayer and bible study. If you are putting him on the back burner, you are not putting your faith in his word. He WILL give you everything you need if you seek him first. God is greater than your needs and any problems that may arise in your life!
